Home and Cottage Restoration & Preservation

If you are building a new home or cottage you may want to treat all exterior wood surfaces with (CPES™) before painting. If wood is treated first with this product, your coatings will bond better and last several years before repainting. The long term benefits will more then pay for the product and many hours of labor will be saved.
Many older homes with wet basements and crawl-spaces have had wood dry-rot problems. These problems mainly apply to foundation sills, floor joists and beams. In many cases, (CPES™) has come to the rescue and has saved the day. Our bulletin # B012 covers restoration on this subject.
(CPES™) is also a great sealer for treated or untreated lumber which may be used for children's swing-sets, decks and docks. When (CPES™) has cured and the solvents have evaporated, the wood surfaces are not slippery and there is no leaching of harmful chemicals.
